From 2023, candidates approved in the CMX Level 3 exam must submit the experience form.
In order to receive the title of Commerce Management Executive (CMX), candidates must be approved in the CMX Level 3 exam and complete a minimum of 3 years of full-time work or 6 years of part-time work, in the field of digital commerce and/or digital transformation. This requirement may be completed prior to or within 10 years of passing the Level 3 exam.
Qualifying experience is defined by holding positions requiring judgements regularly made employing the principles and best practices of digital commerce. Such employment and roles include, but are not limited to:
Management of an ecommerce operation
Leading digital transformation in the company
Management of various sales channels
Preparation and analysis of digital campaigns
Optimisation of multiple sources of traffic
Forecasting and planning demand
Strategies to optimise inventory management
Leading logistics for digital commerce
Analysing the financial health of a digital operation
Managing technology in a company
To validate the required experience, candidates approved in the CMX Level 3 Exam must submit the following form, containing information of job titles, responsibilities, time in position and relevant persons to contact to authenticate experience, such as a director or supervisor.
Exceptions to any of the rules and requirements above stated should be treated on a case-by-case basis, and the candidate should contact certification@eicom.org with their case.
